WHEN GOD WINKS AT YOU

He was schedule to go back to court, and they held him. There was an inquiry made on his behalf because no one knew what had happened during the court proceeding. The information given was that he went back to jail and he would not get out until a month later. A few days later, I personally received a text from him letting me know he was released, and he was fine. I began to praise God! Although, he still had a few challenges facing him, I believed that God would give him favor and meet all of his needs. He made a mistake by reacting to the provocation and by no means am I implying that he was justified, but God saw his heart and rendered mercy.

I wanted to share this story because sometimes we do make the wrong decisions, and we are at fault for our actions, but God hears the pray of repentance and He knows our heart. I hope this article will encourage someone to understand that even when we are at fault if we repent and are sincere, God can turn our situations around. I am by no means suggesting that it is alright to do wrong things and expect to get away with it. We should never try to tempt or influence God by wrongdoing, but we can certainly go to Him humbly with a heart of repentance and expect forgiveness, and in that forgiveness, may come mercy and favor. This young man was put on probation, but he did not have to go to jail. God is just. If He can do it for this gentleman, He can certainly deliver you in spite of your offense. Give your plight to God and allow Him to move on your behalf and be willing to accept the outcome.

What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us? (Romans 8: 31, NASB)
