THE SPIRIT IN YOU
warranty. Therefore, with all of that said, what is the problem? Why are so many people living with restraints? Why aren't they busting loose? I believe there are several reasons, but I want to list the three that I think are the most detrimental to unleashing our potential.
One of the reasons that we place restraints on unleashing our potential stems from the type of people that we allow in our lives. Every person at some time or another will run into a situation where they must deal with a family member, friend or acquaintance who continuously pulls on them emotionally, psychologically, spiritually, and financially. I call them weasels because they are varmints. They only want to satisfy their own selfish desires and have no desire to accomplish anything in life other than successfully bringing someone down. You become an easy target when you are not truly focused on fulfilling your purpose (Galatians 5: 7 - 9). How many of you can honestly attest to this statement? Can you admit that you are not where you should be because you allowed people to hold you back and place restraints on unleashing your potential? Let that brew in your mind for a moment.
want them or not. But sometimes we get a car that can do far more than we are even aware of and are even willing to realize. I am grossly guilty of buying cars with a lot of features that I am not aware of. Every car comes with an owner's manual, but I do not take the time to read it unless there is something I need to do, like change the time on the clock. I have satellite radio and I don't even know how to change the stations. The stations are set on the ones my salesperson set for me. I know, shame on me, but follow me; I am trying to make a point. Those knobs, gadgets and buttons are the devices that unleash the potential of the vehicle. Because I have not taken the time to read the owner's manual entirely, the car is not functioning at its maximum potential. I know the men can appreciate this analogy because the first thing they do is read the manual all the way through because they want to know all the potential (there is that word again) the vehicle has.
We come with an owner's manual. The manufacturer knows the potential we all possess. It is His desire to see us operate at optimum capacity and there is no worry because we come with a lifetime
