SPIRITUALITY AND FAITH

Don’t be up when something good has happened and down when you don't see anything happening. Instead pursue Unshakeable Faith in God!

B.When you make God bigger, your problems become smaller. When you magnify God instead of your problems, faith rises in your heart that keeps you fully persuaded. This is so important that Rom. 14:5 says, “Each person must be fully convinced in his own mind.” Heb. 10:35 says “Do not throw away your confidence, which has great reward. For you have need of endurance so…you may receive what was promised.” Because of this, we must ask: “Am I considering only my circumstances or am I considering my God?” Most people have considered their circumstances long enough. They've considered the bank account, the medical report, the odds that are against them. It's time to make the switch and start considering our God. For when we do it makes God bigger and our problems become smaller!

C.You dare to exhibit an Unshakeable Trust in God that promises He has spoken over you, dreams He has placed in your spirit, and secret petitions you have only told to God, He has every intention of bringing them to pass! God is a faithful God! Abraham believed that and it says in Rom. 4:21 “being fully assured that what God had promised He was able also to perform”. You must have that same faith, knowing It may not have happened on your timetable but that doesn't mean it's not going to happen. Don't you dare give up on God’s promises. Don't let discouragement, negative thoughts, or delay talk you out of it. If God said it--He will do it, He will bring it to pass. So as you seek to exhibit Unshakeable Faith, you must 3rdly...

with Unshakeable Confidence that God alone will make happen what you need! Look what it says here about Abraham in verse 19, It says “he contemplated his own body, now as good as dead since he was about a hundred years old, and the deadness of Sarah’s womb at ninety…v. 20 yet with respect to the promise of God, he did NOT waver in unbelief, but grew Strong in faith, giving glory to God.” In the same way, we need to know that we grow and our faith builds when our faith is stretched, and we pray and believe even when we don't see any reason to believe. In the wait time, we must live in unshakeable confidence!

II.NOTICE THE DETERMINATION OF UNSHAKEABLE FAITH (v. 19-21)

A.The key to having Unshakeable Faith is that you don't consider your circumstances—you consider your God! Abraham is a great example! Verse 19 "He considered not the weakness of his own body nor the deadness of Sarah's womb". He refused to listen to reason and refused to look at reality…since He had a word from God. Your circumstances, like Sarah's womb, may look dead. The financial situation may look impossible. The medical report may say it's hopeless. Doubters may say, "You can’t accomplish your dreams”. But remember…doctors can treat you, but only God can heal you! Bankers can loan to you, but only God can open the windows of blessing over you! So don’t be limited by the economy, job situation, health or feelings! Depend instead on God who said He would supply all your needs (Phil. 4:19). Don’t be up and down!
