We exchanged numbers and we kept in touch. In fact, I even had an opportunity to visit her home. Of course, when Myles Munroe came to Detroit years ago, she informed me of his visit, and I was there with all his other admirers to hear his dynamic message. I was in awe. When Myles finished ministering, he walked into the crowd to greet and meet the audience. He came up to me and I politely introduced myself to him and acknowledged that I knew his sister, Deborah. He smiled at me and extended his hand and said, "It is a pleasure meeting you". This was the first and last time I met Myles Munroe in person. When I heard of his tragic death, my heart was broken. The only thing that gives me comfort is that I know he is
continuing his mission in heaven.
If my publicist had not given me her spot-on Dr. Munroe-Bailey's TV show, I may not have had the opportunity to meet Deborah, or her brother, the great Dr. Myles Munroe. I see this as being a God Wink. God knew how much I admired this man and how much his books greatly influenced me. I always desired to meet him in person and possibly one day get an opportunity to talk with him and glean from his knowledge. Although I will never have that opportunity, I am grateful for the opportunity I had to meet him.
"And how can anyone tell them without being sent by the Lord? The Scriptures say it is a beautiful sight to see even the feet of someone coming to preach the good news," (Romans 10: 15, CEV).
