Your Own Worst Enemy?

When talking about cell phones, you will find that the study of them is far from complete in regards to long term usage. Anything I write here is only for your discernment on current facts that are preliminary findings which are made available to the general public.

As of 2018, well over 4 Billion people are using cell phones worldwide. You will find many disputed reports on the long and short term usage of cell phones, and how it may affect your health. The FCC and the American Cancer Society believe that operating a cell phone on a daily basis should not be a health concern. You will find that both arguments are very compelling, but who is right and who is wrong, you decide. They also have stated that cell phones emit non-ionizing radiation that is too low to cause brain cancer or tumors.

Cell phones have been around shortly before the 1990s, and as of 2003, 50% of the population owns a phone. As far as long-term effects, it may well be determined down the road in future studies. Some people out there have stated that the sun emits more radiation, but even low dosages of cell phone radiation can cause harm in the long run. There are some states that want all cell phones to come with a warning label, which as of 2018, I have not seen any but maybe you have.

Some people also have reported brain damage associated with cell phone usage as well as other health issues. One study suggests that you should use your speaker phone more often than just holding your phone to your ear, which puts your ear closer to the "so called" harmful radiation emissions.

Another study has shown brain tumors and cancer on only one side of the head near the ear canal with some patients who have stated the ear they held their phone next to the most was the same area were these tumors and cancer appeared. You will find that many studies on cell phone usage are split right down the middle showing the pros and cons of cell phone usage.
