The Wisconsin Dells
When you hear the name “Wisconsin Dells” everyone has heard of the state of Wisconsin, but many people don’t know what the Dells are. The Wisconsin Dells area is known for its sprawling waterparks, tourist attractions, and beautiful landscapes with stunning scenery, which can be one way to describe it, but I’m sure, there are other descriptive ways!
This area of Wisconsin is a vacation hot spot for many outdoor activities with the view of the scenic river from the back of a tour boat showing all the sandstone formations with rocky cliffs and bluffs along the way through this winding river canyon called the “Upper Dells and Lower Dells.” The waterway in this area is the “Wisconsin River” which connects onto “Lake Delton.”
In this area, there are many waterfront hotels, motels, resorts, timeshares, cabins, condos, campgrounds etc., all near the water. You will find that almost all the attractions are near the “Wisconsin River or Lake Delton,” and also, on the main
strip of the “Wisconsin Dells Parkway” and other adjoining cross streets.
The Dells have plenty to offer now that the weather is warming up and summer is here. Explore all the great springtime activities in the Wisconsin Dells with having scenic attractions, outdoor recreation, indoor/outdoor waterparks, one-of-a-kind entertainment, and great dining options. The Wisconsin Dells is also noted as being the “Water Capital of the World,” which is their slogan.
Anyway, some of the water activities are not just main strip businesses but many of your resorts also have waterparks such as the “Chula Vista Resort” some of which are outdoors and some indoors. This resort has 26 waterslides and a wave pool. Waterpark passes are included with all overnight stays at this resort. This resort is just minutes away from almost 100 attractions to see and do.
When I was there the first time with my brother, we stayed at the “Cedar Lodge and Settlement,” located on the
