HONOR THE LORD WITH YOUR WEALTH AND PRIORITIES IN 2020 (v. 9-10)
A. The promises of God. Honor the Lord from your wealth and from the first of all your produce”. This was a big thing to Solomon, and to God. Why the Bible offers more than 2000 verses on money and possessions. God has made a promise that He will never forsake those who seek Him. This promise God made long ago is still valid in 2020, because God “is not slack concerning His promises”. We must be quick to share with God in the need of others knowing that Phil. 4:19 says, “Our God “shall supply all our need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus!” We are not to be survivalists in 2020 BUT Revivalists!
C. The proVision of God. The boy who gave his lunch of 5 loaves and 2 fish, the Good Samaritan and many other success stories in the Bible prove that we must not hoard but partner with God’s desire to do miracles in and through our lives this year! By getting a clear Vision of God’s Power, Purposes and Provision we can be a success in 2020! It is my prayer that each of you will have a vision of Jesus…like Paul had on the Damascus Road...so you will not have flawed vision but fulfilled vision in 2020.
Pray this out loud: “Dear God, I surrender my ALL to you, so You can work your big dreams in and through my life this year! Train my brain to wake up each day with a good attitude in anticipation of what you will do through my life in 2020. Train my mouth to speak your praise and to declare the CORE convictions of a Spirit-Driven and Directed
Life that will NEVER be compromised. May I daily speak up as a “sold out” believer and bring others into your forever family. May my actions daily reflect your dreams and goals for my life! Fill me with your awesome power and purpose. I declare this as My New Year Resolution. In Jesus’ Name. Amen!”
