BE YE TRANSFORMED – YES YOU CAN!

Every month, I am probably the last one to submit an article. It's not that I don't know the subject matter, but it's because I am waiting on God to help me so that what I write will be an article that would empower you or help you get the breakthrough that is needed. I believe that our Heavenly Father knows exactly what it is that His children need.

This issue is dealing with moving to the next level. I think we all know the scripture, Romans 12:2, but let me not make any assumptions. The scripture states; "Do not be conformed to this world but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind......" Can this scripture mean something more than just a quoted, remembered scripture? I so often hear this scripture spoken with clarity and authority, but I lack seeing the transformation that I know lies in the power of those spoken words, so let's examine the scriptural text. Let us first define the word, transform which means "to make a thorough or dramatic change in the form, appearance or character of, to convert". So this means that by any means necessary, everything can be changed. We

can change the style of our cars, clothes, our appearance, our location or even our names. This is only to name a few.

Of course, we have begun a New Year and as often times we probably have made some New Year's resolutions. Every year we make a list of things that we are to do differently. Could challenges be what really defeat us? Are we taking the correct steps not only just to start but for completion? I am reminded of the commercial that says, "I've fallen, and I can't get up". Then it shows us this button that you wear around your neck called "The Life Line". The next thing it shows us is the benefit to having it, how it operates and the cost of the device. It even shows us this great monitoring system of trained phone operators that know how to assist you in the time of need which makes their device work with efficiency. At the end of the commercial, it shows the one that was in distress being very grateful for their
