STEP UP Ladies Program Cover Story
The ladies program provides a comprehensive knowledge of starting a business by obtaining skills in various areas such as business etiquette, dressing for success, writing a feasible business plan, marketing strategies and other relevant topics to achieve success with starting, running and sustaining their businesses. The program provides motivational speakers in the industry of business, mentors, and instructors who are well versed in their professional fields. The participants learned how to pitch their ideas to potential customers and funders.
Our program is unique because the participants are low to moderate income
women who have a passion to start their own businesses, and we are targeting participants in a certain geographical regions; this allows us to keep our number of participants manageable. They will learn how to obtain their DBA papers, EIN#, articles of organization, or incorporation and they will actually write a business plan that will assist them in obtaining potential funding. This program is available to those who are truly serious about having a viable business and as a reward, at the end of the course, the participants received a business start-up package to help jump start their businesses.
