DID YOU KNOW
Anyway, when you are in the stock market you need to know when to buy or sell. Is your stock down due to your company filing bankruptcy, or are they being sued, or are they down because they had a bad quarter in earnings, or a bad news write up, when in many cases will not be permanent.
You will find that all companies have earnings 4 times a year, and some companies will beat their earnings on a regular basis, and others will have a bad quarter now and then. If you are a long-term investor then you may have to
would have a really bad day, and my friend in-particular as an example panicked and sold his shares, when the only reason his stock went down was because of temporary bad news in our nation, and I told my friend not to sell, it will rebound back quickly. He did not listen and sold his stock, and took a big loss, and 2 days later it bounced back, and went up from there higher, and my friend was sick at what happen, and lost a lot of money.
wait till the next quarter earnings to see if the company is back to making money. But if it is a sound company, many traders will add more shares of the stock, because the price has gone down to a bargain price, and now they are ready in case their company has better earnings, and now they will make more money because of the additional shares at a reduced price.
Now, back to my friend. Back in 2018 my friend called me up and said that he is making money on the stock market, and for me to get back in the market since I have not been in the market since 2000. I decided, why not! I was using a broker back in 2000, but this time I will do it myself, so I opened a Fidelity account online, and transferred money over from my bank to have it ready so when I decided what company I would invest in, then I had the money to start trading stock right away.
