There are Staged Performances at different venues at this place. They also have Street Theater where you can see everyone acting out a skit while walking like yourself, while dressing the part of a colonial person, which everyone working there are costumed. Also, when we were here, we watch and listened to the Fifes (Flute) and Drums marching band as they demonstrate the music and drill of various military ceremonies from an 18th-century soldier's working day.
Now, while you are here, you need to visit Busch Gardens Christmas Town, which is very near Colonial Williamsburg, where you will see Ten Million Lights, plus the amusement park there has over 25 rides, which is a separate ticket then Christmas Town. See Website! https://buschgardens.com/williamsburg/events/christmas-town/

They also have great nearby historic attractions such as three places in Virginia which can lay claim to where America was born. The first permanent English settlers arrived at Jamestown Settlement in 1607, Williamsburg, and Yorktown Battlefield, where I went to all three, called the Historic Triangle. there you will also see the Colonial Parkway, which is a 23-mile Scenic Roadway, connecting Virginia's Historic Triangle — Jamestown, Williamsburg, and Yorktown. Have fun here, I sure did! Down below is a travel guide and a video. https://www.colonialwilliamsburg.org/explore/seasons/holidays/
This next historical site is the Magazine, which was constructed in 1715 as storage for the arms and ammunition dispatched from London for the defense of the colony. There are other historical attractions there like the Wythe House, Everard House, James Geddy House, Peyton Randolph House, Presbyterian Meetinghouse, Public Hospital of 1773, and other historical structures to view.
There is a nice attraction to partake in and it also makes for a nice photo opt. That would be the Carriage Rides. Enjoy a leisurely ride through the Historic Area by horse-drawn carriage. Surround yourself with the sights and sounds of this unique city, far removed from the bustle of modern-day streets. Tickets can be purchased online or in person, where the carriages hold up to 4 people. Also, they even have an art museum here. Explore the expanded and updated Art Museum, featuring more of the collection on view than ever. Plus, enjoy amenities including the Museum Store and Café.
