Hope you all are enjoying your summer! We have certainly had some beautiful weather, and I personally am grateful to be able to enjoy all four seasons that God has created. Each season brings something different, reminding us just how versatile and creative He is. In fact, this is exactly how we pattern our magazine—versatile, creative, inspiring, and filled with something for everyone.
I am especially excited about this month’s issue because our writing team continues to grow, bringing with them a wonderful variety of interesting, informative, and thought-provoking articles. I am proud to serve as the Editor-in-Chief of this wonderful digital magazine. Its popularity continues to grow, and our writers are excited to come to you each month with spirited words designed to inspire, educate, encourage, and challenge you in every area of your life.
In this month’s issue, we celebrate “A Summer to Remember” as we highlight the Discover Works Summer Program. What an incredible summer it has been! Young people were given opportunities to learn, grow, explore, and simply enjoy being young. From academics in math, English, and Language Arts to enrichment in entrepreneurship, artificial intelligence, life skills, sports, and exciting field trips, the program provided experiences that we hope will remain with our youth long after summer is over. It reminds us that when we invest in our young people, we are investing in our future.
Throughout this issue, you will also discover articles covering a variety of topics that will make you think, reflect, and perhaps even look at some familiar things from a different perspective. That is one of the things I love most about Discovering YOU Magazine. We are not limited to one subject or one audience. Just as God has given us
four unique seasons, we strive to bring you a magazine that is versatile, creative, informative, and inspiring.
I want you to find that special place where you can take some time out just for you. Sit back, relax, and allow the reading material in this issue to bring a little clarity, encouragement, inspiration, and meaning to your life this month. You can even call a friend and open a discussion about one of the topics. Ask them what they think—let’s see how much they know! You may be surprised by the conversations that begin.
Yes, this issue will allow you to examine certain areas that you may sometimes take for granted, while giving you information that will enlighten, inspire, and challenge you. I promise, you will not be disappointed.
