Back in the year 2000 was my first visit to Iowa, and I returned another time after this date in 2015, because there was so much to see and do in this state that one visit was not enough. Des Moines being the state capital, I stayed in the downtown Des Moines area my first visit here, after visiting many nice attractions south of this city on my first day here. When you think about Iowa, one would think the whole state is cornfields, but they would be wrong. There is a lot to see and experience in this state if you know where to look.
Anyway, these are the top things to do in this city I will list according to visitor reviews. The first one is the State Capitol Building. The Iowa State Capitol and its golden dome have stood as a shining symbol of Iowa government and politics since its completion in 1886. The Capitol
