Discovering YOU Magazine August 2021 Issue | Page 4

FROM

THE EDITOR'S DESK

Hello everyone,

It is hard to believe that this summer is almost over. I recall writing not too long ago welcoming in the summer. Our children are getting ready to go back to school, people are trying to go on their vacations before the Fall season comes in and what is really exciting is our youth summer program is about to come to an end and we will be graduating our youth who will be completing the STEP UP program; we are so proud of them. Yes, summer is going out and we are going to start a whole new project that we are busily delving going into the next season.

Our next major project is the WOW Event, and we are anticipating this event to be our best one yet. This year we are hoping to utilize our students from STEP UP to participate as vendors and we will be honoring them as well at this event. We hope you attend and experience the blessing all of our past attendees have witnessed. It will be a memorable event. But enough about that, let’s get into this month’s issue and how you will be thoroughly blessed.

This month we will have information to help your dog with separation anxiety as you start to go back to work. Tips on how to prepare your children to go back to school and be safe from COVID. These are some of the topics that will be covered in this issue. And of course, you will

continue to enjoy travel tips and attractions with Michael Lynch, dynamic and life changing words of encouragement from Pastor Philip Nissley, and don’t forget the advice I will give you pertaining to relationships.

A one-stop-shop for sure. Discovering You Magazine is for all who have a desire to be empowered, inspired, and transformed. You do not want to miss out on the opportunity to share this magazine with your friends and family; it’s absolutely free! Like I always tell you, sit back in your favorite chair and use your electronic device of choice to enjoy this publication. Month after month we will take you to new heights as you Discover….Your Own Uniqueness.
