Here is something which is offered at more than one plant and that is FREE RV tours (recreation vehicles). The companies that offer these FREE factory tours are; “Jayco, Fleetwood, Newmar, Keystone, Crossroads, American Coach, Redwood, and the Dynamax Corporation,” plus many others, where practically all the RV factories are in northern Indiana near the Amish area or directly inside it. As a matter of fact you will find that 80% of all RVs made are made in northern Indiana. The next attraction is the “Hoosier Bat Company” in the city of Valparaiso. This FREE tour is located in the northwestern region of the state. Numerous major and minor league players use many of the 35,000 baseball bats that are custom made each year at this place. The next attraction is the “Fairmount Historical Museum,” which is a FREE museum dedicated to the actor “James Dean” from the 1950’s. I’ve been to this museum and it’s worth an admission charge if they decided to charge. This attraction also has great online reviews and I personally give it a high score! This is located in northern Indiana in the city of Fairmount. There are other FREE things to do in this city which is worth investigating.
