FROM
THE EDITOR'S DESK
In spite of all of the restrictions and the inability to socialize, I believe that something good is going to come out of all of this. I strongly feel the hand of God in all of this. I am not saying that being in this situation is easy, but I am saying that there is a new awakening and newness of life that is about to spring forth. The entire world is realizing that God reigns and He is truly in control. All over social media you see raised hands giving glory to God. Although we are fighting an invisible foe, it is not undefeatable. It is weakness, it cannot defeat the power of love, hope and unity. The nation for the first time in human history is on one accord being single minded about this one thing; determination to win. The determination to start a new life and never forgetting the time that all of mankind had to look to each other to fight this insidious disease.
My prayer is I hope in just a few weeks we can all get back to living as close to normal as we remember it. Actually, I am anticipating that life will be far better for us, especially for those who took the time to work on those goals and aspirations that we placed on hold for so long. It wasn’t easy but we will be able to shout, “We did it!” To help us realize that, we dedicate this month’s issue to examining the different events that occurred dealing with surviving the disease to how to keep your pet safe while dealing with COVID-19. There will be several articles centered around this issue and we hope that you all will take the time to be
informed. Even the aftermath of the disease is something that we must all prepare to face. We are not going to just be able to jump back into the swing of things; it will be a process.
The magazine will still feature inspiration on your favorite topics. It will give you information on finances, pet care and relationships, and let’s not forget some of the most scrumptious recipes you can make in a short deal of time; perfect for those who are very busy or just a little lazy, and do not desire to spend a lot of time in the kitchen. While this issue will highlight articles about COVID-19, we still pride ourselves on being a one stop shop publication. We enjoy coming into your home every month to transform your lives with knowledge, and inspiration. Stick with us because in the near future, we are going to take this magazine to a higher level. It will be a publication that you will thoroughly enjoy even more, and you will not regret being a subscriber of Discovering You Magazine. So, find your favorite chair or whatever you use to relax and sip on a delicious beverage. Be prepared to be wooed as you Discover......Your Own Uniqueness!
Sincerely,
