SPIRITUALITY AND FAITH

Poem written by Francine Houston

The Strength of a Woman

(Strong Enough for a Man

But PH Balanced for a Woman)

I though my strength was in my performance,

what car I drive,

how many O’s in my bank account,

having props and shout outs.

I was quickly reminded my strength as a woman was my personality,

kindness, and caring,

to have healthy relationships,

to be healthy,

not showing off everything I own but being compassionate,

humble and having self-control.

to be a help-mate, pure, effective and modest

To lean on the grace of God,

to be thankful to see another day.

It’s good to have a good performance,

to have a good car to drive,

to be able to give more,

but strength comes from God,

the joy of the Lord is your strength.

To have a quiet and meek spirit,

to learn to love unconditional,

to be a blessing!
