in “Bethesda, Maryland", which is near the Washington DC area, you can take the METRO bus near your hotel and keep your car at the hotel parking garage. You should do it that way, because parking can be limited at all these attractions.

Now, if you need help in planning your trip, the front desk person at your hotel can advise you on your best course of action, and also, you can go online to wmata.com, which is the METRO bus company, and then click on “trip planner”. Enter the name of your hotel in the starting point box and where you want to go to in the arrival box, and it will show you the color bus and all the METRO bus stops near your hotel. I believe Bethesda, Maryland is the Red bus!

Now, as far as where to stay? That can be a chore in itself with all the many accommodations this city and other neighboring cities offer. When I was here last time, I stayed in Bethesda, Maryland with friends and took the bus near our hotel to different attractions, and when we were done in one area of town, we transferred onto another bus to go to other attractions that we couldn’t reach being on the first bus.

As far as all accommodations offered, they have; bed and breakfasts, budget friendly hotels, boutique hotels, extended stay hotels etc. There are many hotels for all budget minded travelers!
