“Washington DC

in Springtime”

Springtime has a different meaning for many people, but for the most part, it’s a new beginning of a new season. Sitting at home waiting for the weather to get warmer puts me as well as others in the mood for a vacation, or a quick getaway.

Anyway, just like any vacation you take, timing can be a good thing when you’re looking at any attraction to get the most out of it. For instance, visiting certain attractions in the fall with the leaves changing colors can enhance your experience staying near the mountains, or near historic towns with the beauty of the surrounding colorful leaves, which makes for a memorable trip.

But, in the early springtime Washington DC is a hot spot for the “Cherry Blossoms” that bloom in late March and sometimes into April. It changes every year depending on the air temperature. This

by the way is a very busy time of the year to visit this city, but you will find that picture taking is at its best during this time of the year, or in the fall.

Trips like these need to be better planned to get the best out of them. I’ve been to Washington DC more than once and I find it just as fascinating every time I go with so many things to see and do, many of which can be done on foot because so many attractions are near one another within walking distance.

Anyway, you will find that Washington DC has different regions where you will find all the attractions offered such as the Downtown area, the Capitol Hill area, the Southwest Waterfront area, Penn Quarter/China Town area, the National Mall area, and also, nearby Virginia, plus other nearby neighborhoods. A lot of your FREE museums are located at the “National
