FROM THE EDITOR'S DESK

Hello everyone,

Ask yourself this question---Do you live with an attitude of expectation? Are you anxiously looking forward to a change in some specific area of your life? Is it a miracle that will change your present circumstances, or is it a divine healing for an insidious disease? Whatever the case may be, are you anticipating it with great expectation? So many people live life from day to day just accepting whatever life dishes out. There is no since of urgency for a better life. As long as they have their essentials, they are content. Please do not misinterpret what I am saying. There is nothing wrong with being content with your present state (Philippians 4:11). We should always have the mindset to enter into God's rest (Hebrews 4), but we should also desire to do better and expect better, especially when God has stated in His word that He wants to exceedingly and abundantly bless us (Ephesians 3:20) Remember, God wants us to prosper and be in good health (III John 2), and live in a state of peace and harmony among our fellow men.

My desire for all of you is that you wake daily with an expectation for change, miracles, healing and a renewed heart for God. Allow us to come into your homes this month to give you inspiration to anticipate with great expectation God's move in your life. Some of you know what I am talking about and your change has already come. If that is your story, call up or e-mail a friend and reassure them that their change is coming and to live with an expectation of it. Be steadfast in your faith and know that God's best is yours. Write down on a piece of paper what you can believe God to do in your life. Daily, meditate on that item and expect God to move. Earnestly, expect God to move for you. Time out with feeding on last year's miracles or those miracles that happened so long ago that when you tell it, you have to add or subtract from the story just to make it interesting. It's time for fresh manna; just like the manna that was given to the children of Israel when they left captivity from their oppressors (Exodus 16). This month we are featuring a phenomenal couple, Gbade and Ade Akinjide of The Voice of Victory Ministry. They are also award-winning Farmers agents who specialize in business and personal financial planning. So while you are waiting on your change, they can share how you can prepare.

God wants to give us fresh manna and He wants us to expect Him to move in our lives. Wake up each day with an attitude of expectation for every area of your life. Don't be moved by your present circumstance; cast that care on God (I Peter 5:7). Know without a doubt that He hears your prayer and He is moving on your behalf (II John 5: 14, 15). Weeping may be for the night (Psalms 30:5), but great expectation for change, healing, miracles and renewed strength will come in the morning. I always say that God is not caught off guard. He does not say-"Oops", when life brings you lemons. Remember, He made those lemons and He can take them and use them for a nice cold glass of lemonade while He changes the circumstances in your life. Expectation for experiencing God's best should be your daily goal as you Discover......Your Own Uniqueness!

Sincerely,
