Italy is a rich country geographically speaking,
it is a bi-continental country, it is located in two continents, in the south of Europe and in the North of Africa. His capital is Rome, which is known as "The eternal city ", and that also is a home of the Holy Catholic Church, in the microstate Vatican. Some interesting places to visit, are: Sicily, one of the most important tourist centers of Italy; Milan, which internationally is known as the city of the Mode and which national is known as the economic and industrial capital of Italy; Abruzzo known as the green region of Europe, since it has three nature reserves and Naples considered by the UNESCO as cultural heritage of the Humanity.
Some places to visit are:
Florence: Is the capital city of Tuscany. In this region, the nature has many different facets, starting from the coast that alternates long and
sandy beaches, like the Versilia beach, with rocky cliffs and steep headlands.
Sicily: Here, the Mediterranean Sea, with it's many little islands scattered around the coasts of Sicily offers unique and intense sceneries, scents and flavors from uncontaminated nature.
Abruzzo: In this place, the natural landscape of the high and steep peaks of the Gran Sasso, Laga Mountains, and Mount Majella slopes down to a wide range of hills, until it finally reaches the Adriatic coast.
Some interesting places
The Roman Coliseum, one of the most famous monuments of the classic antiquity, which already in 1980 cultural heritage of the Humanity was declared and which in 2007 there was declared one of the new seven marvels of the world, is a historical modal, a sample of the fights that between gladiators were given and of other spectacles that in the Rome of the epoch, took place.
Other place, and probably the coziest is known as "Cinque Terre", a portion of coast formed by five peoples, Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore, which from 1997 was declared heritage of the Humanity by the UNESCO.
