The hotel was impressive in many ways. The location was fantastic, since the old town was just a few minutes away, all of the best shopping malls were close and the harbor was right next to the hotel.
The rooms were extremely clean, comfortable and well furnished, Unlike most hotels in Tallinn, the staff in this hotel was polite and spoke good Finnish. When asking for directions or advice, I always got answers that actually helped.
The restaurant was pleasant. “Restaurant City” offered a delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner. “Lobby bar Piano” offered refreshing soft drinks and cocktails and had live piano music every Thursday. The “Nightclub Cellar” organized special events such as theme parties and product demonstrations and it had a wide selection of drinks played timeless songs.
There were, however, a few downsides to the hotel. Even though, the standard rooms were comfortable in every other way, they were extremely small and a little cramped. They were 14m2 on average.
Overall, the Tallink City Hotel was a very good hotel with excellent service and good accommodation. It was a fantastic experience and I would recommend it to anyone on business or travelling with his or her family.
