Parks and Sportsfields
With over 140 parks and playgrounds (including ones with wheelchair accessibility and/
or specialized equipment), numerous outdoor courts for tennis, volleyball, pickleball and
basketball, and 200 fields and diamonds, Strathcona County offers a wide variety of places to
participate in outdoor fun.
And don’t forget about winter! Strathcona County has 26 outdoor ice surfaces including
boarded rinks, snowbank rinks and the Emerald Hills Skating Pathway.
