For women , especially 40 something and beyond , Chantal Fashion offers casual , sophisticated clothes that fit well and look great . “ I personally pick truly unique , fashionable pieces that will make women feel fabulous every time they wear them ,” remarks owner Chantal Nissim , who tries on every piece she brings into her shop . Even if an item visually passes her discriminating eye , if it doesn ’ t fit comfortably , it ’ s out .

After being in the business for almost twenty years Chantal knows what works . In Tubac now for five years , she started in the resort town of Saugatuck , Michigan , where she owns four successful clothing stores , three for women and one for men . A clothing designer in her own right , Chantal has created elaborate wedding dresses and will even design the occasional custom dress . That ’ s if she can squeeze it in between raising two kids , owning three dogs , six stores — her sixth being the newly opened Renaur in La Entrada — and her latest hobby … flying !
Chantal orders new apparel weekly and that makes for a fun and fresh shopping experience . There ’ s a lot to choose from in sizes 0 to 3X , and most items are machine washable . The majority of the shop ’ s lines are exclusive to the Tubac area as well and perfect for a casual dinner , a night out with friends , or even that long awaited cruise .

Filled with handmade goods , it ’ s a must stop for that perfect gift or to indulge your own tastes in fine jewelry , gorgeous handbags , and outrageous cowgirl boots !
All lined up on the back wall , those amazing boots are bound to catch your eye . One style is filigreed with various patterns and designed to swap out the background color . “ A zipper pocket and sleeve on the inside lets you slide in and out up to 20 colored backgrounds ,” explains Loretta . “ There are women in Tubac who have 10 different background colors , so whenever you see them out and about , their boots always match their outfit !”
