Xuchang – Pingdingshan – Zhumadian – Xinyang
90 minutes from Zhengzhou on the Jinggang’ao Highway is Xuchang with cultural relics from the Three Kingdoms period (220 – 280). Next catch the Yongdeng Highway for a 50 minutes drive to visit Yuzhou Museum and the Jun Porcelain Kiln site. Head on to the Lannan Highway followed by the Ninluo to get to the Pingdingshan Shiren Mountain Scenic Area with the towering Spring Temple Buddha statue that stands at 208m, the tallest statue in the world. Drive further south on the Zhengyao and then Ninluo Highways, to reach Chaya Mountain, a 5A National Scenic Area where peaks, pavilions and caves form about 200 attractions in the area. To round up, head back on Jinggao’ao Highway and drive to Nanwan Lake in Xinyang. Jump on the G107 Highway and in less than two hours you'll be at Jigong Mountain and the Purdom Forest Park in Xinyang.

Jiaozuo – Xinxiang – Anyang
Drive from Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport, northward on Jinggang’ao and then Yuanjiao Highways. The first stop in about two hours will be the Yuntai Mountain Geological Park in Jiaozuo. After exploring the area, take the S306 provincial highway that leads to Qingtian River with a total of 308 attractions. Drive further north on the S306 highway and Taihang Mountain with the Baligou Scenic Area being the next stop. Head back onto Jingguang’ao Highway and drive some three hours to reach the gate of the Yin Ruins Museum, a site with over 3,000 years of history.
