With Ramadan falling over the summer months, many of the popular nightspots
have closed down for refurbishment. But that’s not to say you can’t find a good
night out and when the sun goes down, Dubai comes alive with an energetic and
cosmopolitan atmosphere buzzing through its multitude of nightspots.
D
uring Ramadan (until 17th July), alcohol cannot be served until after 8pm, and there
is no live music allowed. So enjoy the day, indulge in a cultural Iftar and then sit
back and relax in one of the many bars and lounges open across the city.
The legal drinking age in Dubai is 21, so if in doubt, take some form of photo ID.
