The town of Jasper is in the heart of Jasper National Park. The
park’s shimmering glaciers, abundant wildlife, crystal-clear lakes,
thundering waterfalls, deep canyons and evergreen forest — all
surrounded by towering mountains — are some of the reasons
the park was named a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The Jasper SkyTram whisks
up Whistler’s Mountain to an
elevation of 2,277 metres,
showing the stunning vistas
over mountain ranges stretching
up to 80 kilometres away. On a
clear day, one can even see the
white pyramid of Mount Robson
in nearby British Columbia.

The 90-minute tour is operated in a glass-enclosed, heated cruise
boat and is fully narrated. Mid-way through there is a photo stop at
Spirit Island where passengers disembark for a short walk to the
lookout point.
