... Fashion and extravagant make-up are two areas many portrait photographers are particularly interested in, and this is certainly true in my case. Therefore, when Katie Mason, a final year Fashion and Textiles student at the University of Wolverhampton contacted myself and a fellow student looking for photographers to work with on a styling shoot, I jumped at the opportunity. The themes for the shoot were modern, retro, ghostly, abstract and bold. Myself, Katie and the second photographer met initially to share the research we had compiled, discuss styling ideas and discuss the clients brief and aspirations. We then arranged a date and booked models, make-up artists and a hair stylist along with the photographic studio at the University of Wolverhampton. On the day of the shoot all parties met at the studio in the University and once the hair and make-up was done, we began shooting!
