In December of 1975 Heneways was founded by Pat Henegan Snr, with the support of
Paddy Henegan and John Buchel. Heneways strongly believes in traditional family values

45 years later, Heneways remains the largest privately owned freight forwarding company
in South Africa, providing quality service from our approximately 500 staff members.
Heneways currently processes more than 24,000 international forwarding and customs
clearing shipments a year, while we operate over 70,000 sqm of warehousing in South
Africa, excelling in the handling of chemicals and food grade products. Apart from local
freight transportation, Heneways also import, export and transport goods internationally.
Heneways has its own office near Heathrow, London and is particularly strong on the UK-
SA trade lane. Our own offices in New York and Chicago ensure that Heneways is able to
offer an excellent forwarding solution from the USA to SA.
