FOREWORD
I am very glad to know that Diplomatist Magazine is planning to dedicate
the current edition to India and Russia ties.
India’s ties with Russia are unique and multidimensional. Our Special and
Privileged Strategic Partnership has been built on the strong foundations of
mutual trust, bilateral understanding and time-tested friendship. Recently, Prime
Minister H.E. Mr. Narendra Modi attended 5th Eastern Economic Forum 2019
at the invitation of President of the Russian Federation H.E. Vladimir Putin. The
visit turned out to be very successful and productive.
Over the last several decades, our ties have greatly benefi ted from the
enormous goodwill that exists amongst the people of both countries. India
stands fully committed to our unparalleled and unique partnership with Russia.
This initiative taken by your magazine will help carry this positive message
