the Indian Council for Cultural Relations
(ICCR) under the Africa Scholarship Scheme
for undergraduate, postgraduate, M.Phil/
Ph.D. and Postdoctoral Fellowships in
various Indian Universities/Institutes. The
ICCR itself offers nearly 3365 scholarships
annually under 24 scholarship schemes, of
which 900 are for African coun¬tries.
These initiatives are intended to further
enrich the academic opportunities available
for students of African countries in India by
increasing the number of scholarships for
them to pursue undergraduate, post-graduate
and more advanced courses.
Pan-African e-Network
In addition to the above, there is also the
Pan-African e-Network Project, a landmark
collaboration between African countries in
the fi eld of education and capacity-building.
