Institute of Ismaili Studies

The Institute of Ismaili Studies (IIS) was established in 1977 as an academic institution of higher education dedicated to the study of Islam. Its particular focus is on Ismaili and broader Shi‘i traditions. It offers graduate studies, short courses, and fellowships and scholarships.

The institute also hosts a learning center, which provides access to scholarly contributions, curriculum (pre-school, primary Ta‘lim, and secondary), a multi-media center, reading lists and guides, speeches, and events. The Institute of Ismaili Studies is located in London.

Global Center for Pluralism

The Global Centre for Pluralism is an independent, charitable organization. The Centre works “with policy leaders, educators and community builders around the world to amplify and implement the transformative power of pluralism.”

The center’s programs include:

Global Analysis: Developing research and tools to measure societies’ treatment of diversity and track trends to support the implementation of more inclusive policies and practices around the world

Educating for Pluralism: Supporting educators to advance pluralism within the classroom as well as throughout educational systems and institutions
