Director
Flor Lopez is one of the founding members of Southwest Creations Collaborative and over the past two decades has been promoted from one of our in-house childcare providers to Handwork Department Manager to her current position as Leadership Development Director.
As SCC's Leadership Development Director, Flor ensures employee leadership development remains central to the work all employees do at Southwest Creations Collaborative. She works closely with employees to set and reach their personal and professional goals, she develops training programs, and she manages all employee evaluations.

Working at Southwest Creations Collaborative
has been a blessing for me. Working here has
helped me tremendously in my personal development and provided support in everything I do – such as obtain a GED, citizenship, daycare, computer classes, health and English classes. These are all things that have helped me grow as an individual and were all done with the help of Southwest Creations Collaborative.
The Hacia la Universidad program has also given me the support so that my daughters are successful in their own education career.
SCC has stayed true to its mission by growing the business and investing in the Hacia team of first generation college attendees. These young leaders have the lived experience of the families with whom the organization engages and deeply understand their challenges and dreams for a successful future.
We are passionate because these are our kids and we have 28 years of experience and success to share with our community to achieve their dreams.
