1 . INTRODUCTION
This booklet covers the topics about how our school handles digital transformation in education and training during the pandemic process that has affected the whole world since March 2020 . The tools and methods developed for the reliable , robust and healthy execution of the process include various application areas and examples . The booklet , which has been updated as of August 2021 , is under four main headings ; How TED Rönesans College handles and applies the digitalization process design , the TED Rönesans College Portal and the " Academy Module " developed for the healthy execution of academic processes , the " Blended Education Model " in the hybridizing education system , and the professional development processes of our teachers who realize the transformation . You can examine information about strategies and technological equipment in the field of informatics . All change activities handled in the digitalization process , with the basic principles focused on ensuring the maximum efficiency of learning ; The needs of our students Ensuring diversity of learning It has been developed and continues to be developed with the awareness that the tool to be used is easy to use for our students , teachers , and parents .
2 . DEFINITIONS USED
Distance education can be defined as institutional-based formal education where the learning group is separate from the learning environment and learning takes place using interactive technology ( Simonson , 2001 ).
Online learning means that the actors forming a learning environment ; teacher , learner , peers and learning environment designer etc . and assets ; It can be defined as the system that enables the interaction and communication of the school / workplace / self-study place , tools , information resources , learning material and social and cultural field to take place online ( Durdu & Durdu , 2020 )
Synchronously , users and the server ( students and educators ) are interactively in the application through live connection in the environment ( internet , satellite , etc .). In this application , students can ask questions , discuss with each other or take tests . ( Toker Gökçe , 2008 ).
