Page 18 The Nobel Museum On 4th of April all the students from Erasmus+ project visited the Nobel Museum in Stockholm. In the main hall we could see screens which showed movies about the past years. On each screen we could see last ten years of the history of the Nobel prize. There were posters presenting famous scientists - winners. This is so impressive when you raise your head and look at the giant notes. Another thing is Nobel’s testament which we can see in a cabinet. One of the interesting thing was recording of the telephone conversation with Nobel Prize winners when they found out that they got the Nobel Prize. It was great to hear when they were surprised at the beginning and then when they were excited. The Museum frequently offers creative exhibitions such as “Sketches of science”, a photo exhibition with 42 Nobel Prize Winners photographed with their Nobel discoveries. Another interesting fact was the movie about Maria Skłodowska Curie. The film presented how she got the Nobel Prize as well as her private life and childhood. Although the movie was short we learned a lot about her. The visit to The Nobel Museum was fantastic. We could find out a lot of new information about people who got the Nobel Prize and discovered and invited something important for science, technology, medicine and in other fields of human life. This visit was a memorable experience. Walk through Science DIGITAL MAGAZINE By Justyna Szlączka, Poland
