Pinning Apps to Start Pinning Apps To Start There are a couple of ways to pin apps to the Windows 10 Start Tile area. Using the Start menu out of tablet mode we can pin apps one way and if we are using tablet mode we will pin apps another way. In this lesson, we will learn how to pin apps using the Start menu out of tablet mode. We have successfully pinned the OneNote app to the Start Menu. All the applications installed on your computer can be found in the Apps List section. Click here to find an app to pin. Another way to pin an app is to right-click on the app and select the pin to Start option. In this example, we can drag and drop the OneNote app over into the Start Menu area. This will pin the app to the bottom of the Start Menu tiles.
As we drag the app over the tile will appear ghosted over the other tiles. As we move the tile over the other tiles, they will move aside to let us drop this app into a location. 3
