Introduction! Why MOOC? Why Coursera? ! Inspired   by   the   concept   of   “2lipped   classroom”   and   the   example   of   “Khan   Academy”,   I   felt   that   Massive   Open   Online   Courses   (MOOCs)   would   be   an   interesting  topic  to  explore.     In  a  period  of  digital  teaching  and  learning,  there   arises   MOOCs.   As   Tomkin   &   Charlevoix   (2014)   suggest,  it  “leverages  both  subject  content  knowledge   expertise   by   a   professor   and   technologies”(p.   71)   so   that  learners  can  bene2it  from  the  connected  learning.     ! ! ! Coursera  is  one  of  leading  providers  of  MOOCs.  It   was   founded   by   two   computer   science   professors   from   Stanford   University.   Started   in   2012   working   with   a   variety   of   privileged   universities,   Coursera   primarily   provides   courses   of   higher   education   level.   Until  March  19,  2014,  there  had  been  3,000,000  users   in  Coursera  community.   With   the   curiosity   of   how   these   renowned   universities   impart   knowledge   through   such   an   online   platform,   I   decided   to   take   a   look   at   Coursera   for  the  2inal  project  for  my  Digital  Literacies  class.   ! 1
