Our school is located at the town center (Devrek, Zonguldak). Our city is by the
Black Sea and coal minining is the main economic activity. Our school Devrek
Hamidiye High School is one of the earliest schools of the region dating back to 1968.
Our school is a provincial public school that consists of two buildings with a library,
two laboratories, an auditorium, a gym, a school counseling office, 23 classrooms, a
study,a canteen and a pension. In 2016-2017 education year, our school continues
education with 32 teachers and 550 students. Students of our school learn two foreign
languages (English and German).
