Darker woods are rising again, paired with natural finishes that move us away from the era of painted everything. Lighting is low, moody and layered with back lit coves, glowing nightstands and sculptural sconces. Bedding shifts to warm creams with soft greens still holding strong.
Green continues its reign in the bathroom where tiles range from mossy tones to deep rich emeralds. Textured and patterned surfaces are gaining momentum, along with graphic black and white geometrics. Browns are resurfacing through mocha toned tiles, while marble slab walls remain a classic choice.
In the kitchen, layered lighting is essential. LED strips illuminate drawers, shelves and cabinet interiors. Organic pendant designs give a bespoke and nature forward feel.
Outdoors, the focus shifts to wellness with improved outdoor kitchens, nano style walls that blur inside and out and spaces for saunas or plunge pools. Across the home, textured and performance fabrics continue to grow, making everyday living more beautiful and more livable.
To round out the home experience, scent is becoming just as intentional as lighting or textiles. Glen often collaborates on custom candles for his projects, favouring a bergamot and lemon grass blend that brings a fresh, uplifting note to any room. It is a simple way to elevate the everyday and make spaces feel warm, personal and beautifully considered.
