Layered lighting was essential in this kitchen. Pot lights, undercabinet lighting, and pendant fixtures over the island provide both practical task lighting and ambient warmth. Large windows at each end of the open-concept main floor flood the kitchen with natural light, making the space feel bright and expansive.
Because the home was completely gutted and rebuilt with an addition and second-floor expansion, the kitchen could be thoughtfully positioned within the layout.
