Safety is our top priority and we have incorporated Wyndham Hotels & Resorts ’ ‘ Count on Us ’ enhanced health and safety procedures to ensure our meeting spaces are used safely and in line with social distancing .
We have re-configured our event and meeting rooms and are maximising outdoor spaces where possible . Hotels have sanitiser stations available throughout venues and measures are in place to manage attendee flow and ensure frequent cleaning and disinfecting using industry-leading products . We have implemented these further measures to give guests peace of mind when staying with us .

Tell us about a successful hybrid event that you have hosted .
Recently , just as an example , we were able to provide one of our clients with the facilities they needed to transform an entire global conference into an online event at our Dolce by Wyndham La Hulpe Brussels ’ broadcast studio . Initially planned to be in-person , this inaugural conference brought together 190 attendees from Singapore , Shanghai , Lagos , Mexico City , London and many more cities around the world , across multiple time zones .
From our on-site Dolce studio , our client was able to execute a full three-day event delivering main stage presentations , interactive leadership training , workshops , chatrooms and even an online leisure programme event . Thanks to the strong collaboration between technical crews in London and Brussels , our client delivered a seamless experience with flexibility . Attendees were able to stay connected , participate in networking sessions and take away content to be used in their businesses going forward .
For those who attended in person , Dolce La Hulpe Brussels ’ s tranquil and secluded settings in the Sonian Forest , gave them an opportunity for some well-deserved relaxation after a successful and full-on event .
What advice would you give to an event organiser looking to host a hybrid event ?
A hybrid event has lots of moving parts , so it is very important to work with the experts and allow time for planning to ensure both the physical and virtual elements run smoothly . Test , re-test and test-again so you can identify any issue that could crop up . Have a strong , well briefed facilitator as a key link between both the live attendees and virtual delegates . Last but not least , think about new ways to keep your audience engaged . Screen fatigue is real so ensure you build in time for breaks and ways to entertain your delegates .
