Doing digital events is hard but it ’ s still producing an event rather than broadcasting a television show . We still need to think in terms of a live event .
The strategic content module is all about making content relevant and ‘ bringing the new ’. If I ’ m going to be sitting in front of a screen and you say you ’ re going to teach me something , then teach it . Nobody wants to watch adverts or have sponsors try and sell to them . We need to make content fun . Why does it always have to be so serious ? ( Read more on the strategic content module on p . 22 ).
What unique key teachings will students learn during the module that they can ’ t get elsewhere ?
“ NOBODY WANTS TO WATCH ADVERTS OR HAVE SPONSORS TRY AND SELL TO THEM . WE NEED TO MAKE CONTENT FUN . WHY DOES IT ALWAYS HAVE TO BE SO SERIOUS ?”

One of my students emailed me recently Three tips for virtual and said I gave great content , I presented event organisers on how well , and I imparted new information . I to increase audience believe I can spark creativity and provide engagement ? a useful roadmap for how to better plan a more effective event . My modules don ’ t 1 . Allow chats between the attendees /
delegates with someone moderating / monitoring said chats to en-sure any negative issues that come up may be quickly addressed or resolved . 2 . Work closely with your speakers to ramp up their game . Virtual deliveries are hard work and some speakers who are great live are terrible on screen . 3 . Bring back the fun . You can be serious about your offerings and still make it fun and enjoyable .
