John Paul II teaches , procreation is always “ with the help of the Lord ,” a realization that is most significant primarily for the woman . 128 For her , participation with God in human procreation involves an ongoing invitation as she observes the visible signs of fertility in the language of her body .
Scientists have long theorized that the human female has evolved to the point where “ concealment of ovulation ” is a modern sociobiological reality . 129 However , current trends in the study of human sexology indicate strong interest in the effects of ovulation on both male and female sexual responses . Despite contradictory findings and conclusions , this research body gives evidence of a subtle yet profound sexual dialogue between man and woman , primarily around the time of ovulation .
