You will moan and tremble upon the land. 4:13 καὶ εἶπεν Καιν πρὸς τὸν κύριον Μείζων ἡ αἰτία μου τοῦ ἀφεθῆναί με, And Cain said to the Lord, ‘Too great is my guilt to be forgiven. 4:14 εἰ ἐκβάλλεις με σήμερον ἀπὸ προσώπου τῆς γῆς καὶ ἀπὸ τοῦ προσώπου σου κρυβήσομαι, καὶ ἔσομαι στένων καὶ τρέμων ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς, καὶ ἔσται πᾶς ὁ εὑρίσκων με ἀποκτενεῖ με. If you cast me out today from the face of the land and I am removed from Your presence, then I will be moaning and trembling upon the land, and any who find me will put me to death. 4:15 καὶ εἶπεν αὐτῷ κύριος ὁ θεός Οὐχ οὕτως, πᾶς ὁ ἀποκτείνας Καιν ἑπτὰ ἐκδικούμενα παραλύσει. καὶ ἔθετο κύριος ὁ θεὸς σημεῖον τῷ Καιν τοῦ μὴ ἀνελεῖν αὐτὸν πάντα τὸν εὑρίσκοντα αὐτόν. Then the Lord God said to him, ‘That will not come to pass. Any who kill Cain will be paralysed with vengence seven times over.’ And the Lord God laid a sign on Cain so that all who found him would not kill him. 4:16 ἐξῆλθεν δὲ Καιν ἀπὸ προσώπου τοῦ θεοῦ καὶ ᾤκησεν ἐν γῇ Ναιδ κατέναντι Εδεμ. Cain went out from the presence of God and dwelt in the land of Nod, opposite Eden.
