a tangible way, his faithfulness in loving God, even in bad times. For he remained unfazed by great personal suffering that involved the loss of almost everything that he held dear in his life. But, he gained merit for his faithfulness and was blessed abundantly and concretely by God, giving him “twice as much” prosperity, including livestock, beautiful children, affection of family and friends, etc. These were clearly witnessed by his detractors too.
