(Diary, # 1329, 1351): It is but fitting for man, that in times of testing or in what befalls
him, including suffering, to “walk by faith” with God (CCC, 164), who is “Absolute Truth,” as
well as man’s “Highest Good” Himself. 141 Sr. Faustina wrote on being “rooted” in God for He is
man’s “first origin and ultimate goal” (Diary, # 1329; CCC, 229). He should take, as well, Jesus
the Son of God (CCC, 429) as his “perfect Model” in life (Diary, # 1351). It is especially true for
the Christian, for through Baptism, he has been “set apart for God” and dignified as His “adopted
son,” as well (CCC, 931, 1997).
