one glance of yours directed at someone else would wound Me more than many sins committed by another person.” (10.5) When Chosen Souls Receive Holy Communion in Ways that Offend Jesus 5.1 Jesus Enters “a Heart as to a Dark Prison” (Diary, # 1280) In September 1937, Jesus told Sr. Faustina that in Holy Communion He enters a soul with much “aversion” or as if entering a heart “as a dark prison, to undergo torture and affliction.” Sr. Faustina then pleaded to God to forgive this soul and then offered to make amends for the offense. 5.2 Jesus Suffers “as into a Second Passion” (Diary, # 1598) (Diary, # 1598): On February 13, 1938, Sr. Faustina observed how unwillingly the Lord Jesus entered certain souls during Holy Communion. He told her, “I enter into certain hearts as into a second Passion.” 5.3 “I Enter that Heart Unwillingly…who Resists My Grace” (Diary, # 1658) Sr. Faustina wrote in her Diary that on April 19, 1938, on Palm Sunday, she was very sick with fever and chills, as well as very weak, physically drained from sweating intensely, bedridden, and unable to attend Holy Mass. She then had to receive Holy Communion in her cell. The priest gave her and to three other Sisters Holy Communion. Believing that she was the last communicant, the priest gave her the last two Hosts. But, when he realized that there was another Sister-communicant in the adjacent cell, he went to get another Host. Later, Jesus told Sr. Faustina, “I enter that heart unwillingly. You received those two Hosts, because I delayed My coming into this soul who resists My grace. My visit to such a soul is not pleasant for Me.” The Lord also gave 44
