How does being a UBC student affect the
way you dress?
This student-produced exhibition considers UBC student clothing,
the contexts in which students dress, and their diverse selfexpressions. We explore UBC student clothing through a range of
themes. We look at:
•The history of the UBC logo and the Thunderbird mascot
•How students express individual and group identities through
clothing
•The changing demographics of the student body and how
nationality affects student clothing
•The ways students display identity through club membership
We hope this exhibition provokes you to think about how your
clothing represents you.
