PARRY SOUND, ON
GEORGIAN BAY ISLAND QUEEN
Back in the late 1960’ s, old wooden taxi boats of the area would leave Parry Sound Harbor and take passengers on tours around beautiful Huckleberry Island, slowing down so the crew could throw grocery supplies into the water for waiting cottagers. On this sailing adventure, the boat will slow down as you pass the charming summer retreats that draw so many generations of families back to this part of Georgian Bay. As we cruise through what many locals consider to be some of the most picturesque scenery on the Bay, admire the windswept inner islands that give shape to the narrow channels and shallow waterways. Be sure to bring your camera to capture the Hole in the Wall, one of the most amazing places in Georgian Bay Biosphere Reserve.
