1 . What is the FNB Maputo 10K Virtual Run ?

The FNB Maputo 10K Run had its first edition in 2019 , where for the first time we crossed the Katembe-Maputo Bridge on a 10km route . This year , it returns in a new , virtual format .

A virtual race is one in which you can run anywhere and anytime . For example , you can run at lunchtime , before work , after taking your kids to school , and you can run around the block , around your house , in a park , wherever you want , you choose your own route .

The FNB Maputo 10K Virtual Run was designed using an app that will allow you to monitor your progress over the 10km of the race at your own pace , and at the end will provide your certificate and your virtual medal as well as the progress of your race .

Due to the pandemic that has affected the whole world , this type of event has become a new trend . Here , participants register online and simply choose how and where to run .

2 . On what date will the FNB Maputo 10K Virtual Run take place ?

The event will take place on Sunday 29 November 2020 between 05:00 and 19:00 . Participants can choose the location , run their own race , at their own pace and time it through the event app .

To record the results , each participant must complete the course within the applicable time . Outside of these hours , the results will not be counted .

3 . Where can I register for the FNB Maputo 10K Virtual Run ?

To register , go to the official website of the FNB Maputo 10K Run , www . maputo10k . com , and choose the option to register online .

4 . When does registration open ?

Registration opened on 28 October 2020 .

5 . When does registration end ?

Registration closes on 28 November 2020 , or when the Race Packs run out .

Last-minute registrations are subject to stock of Race Packs and will be made at Maputo Gloria AFFEC Hotel between the 26th , 27th and 28th of November 2020 .

6 . To which platforms can I share my experience ( photographs / run / finishers certificate )?

7 . What is the registration fee ?

Registration costs only 50 ( fifty ) Mts .

8 . What form of payment can I use ?

You will make the payment at the time of registration , on the online platform .

9 . What is included in my registration fee ?

When you finish Race Pack collection , you will have access to your Race Pack , which includes :

• FNB Limited Edition Event Performance Tee

• FNB Race Number

• FNB Running Socks

• Bonaqua Product

• Access to the Run Your City Series Tracking App to use during the Virtual Run

10 . Where do I collect my Race Pack / Goody Bag / Kit ?

All entrants must collect their Race Pack from Race Pack Collection at the Maputo AFECC Gloria Hotel .

Kits cannot be shipped . All kits must be picked up at the indicated location . The Stock is limited to the first 1 500 registrants .
